These mounts have a few minor scratches but are mostly unused. I've found that if used on an M4 the axis drum can rub against the brass deflector, so it may be wise to use a riser if you're using this on an M4. Other guns shouldn't have any issues.
The screw heads some magnifiers come with are a fraction of a mm too wide to fit into the holes, so some adjustment may be needed. Placing the screw into a drill and grinding the rim of the head against a file for a few seconds is enough.
The benefit of these over other mounts is that the top piece can be removed, using the paddle on the back. This allows you to remove the magnifier without having to remove the mount.
