This is based on the TM system of Gas Shotguns. The M870 is a gas powered pump action shotgun with interchangeable 3 and 6 shot burst. Fantastic choice for CQB games. It uses a shell as the magazine and you load one shell into the shotgun and then every time you pump it you can fire either 3 or 6 BBs.

Super gas efficiency, probably 130+ pumps before re-gasing, that's near 400bbs down range! Also range is insane!, keeping up with aegs with ease due to its triple hop up system.
