I have quite a few of these identifier lights. If your interested in buying one or more, please get in touch.
They're made out of a soft silicone on a polymer frame. The silicone encloses all of the electronics including the battery, so its 100% waterproof. The downside to this is that the battery cannot be replaced, unless you cut into the silicone.
The battery does last quite a long time however. I don't know the exact duration, but I've never known one to run out.
