Description
For sale is this classic Ares L1A1 SLR AEG with polymer furniture. It is in good condition but needs a bit of TLC.
Key Details & Condition:
- Top Rail: A rail has been fitted to the top for attaching a scope. However, the screws need to be replaced and refitted securely.
- FPS: The previous owner mentioned that the FPS was running a bit low, suggesting it might be due to a shrunken O-ring on the piston head (apparently a common issue with the Ares SLR). However, when I tested it, it was firing consistently between 315 and 325 FPS.
- Safety Catch: The safety mechanism does not engage properly; it will still fire on semi-automatic even when the safety is switched on.
